Experience the magic of Handbells

Enchanting. Exciting. Unforgettable.

Coming Up

TRY AND RING! Come along and give handbells a go!

6:30 - 7:30pm on Thursday 29 January at Middle Ridge Uniting Church Hall, Stenner St, Toowoomba

A handbell  choir or ensemble is a group that uses tuned bells designed to be rung by hand, as opposed to those rung in bell towers by pulling on ropes. Unlike an orchestra or choir in which each musician is responsible for one line of the texture, a handbell ensemble acts as one instrument, with each musician responsible for particular notes, sounding their assigned bells whenever those notes appear in the music.

Toowoombells is a handbell performance choir based in Toowoomba, Australia, and includes the larger Toowoombells ensemble and the smaller Bell'Amore ensemble, both of which regularly perform across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. We are passionate about uplifting our community through music and creating unforgettable moments at each performance.
